I’m Lauren... a bridal makeup artist based in the heart of Derbyshire, where I live with my little girl Elsie and my partner, Tom.

 

My journey into makeup began in 2012, when I trained in Makeup Artistry at Nottingham College. Shortly after, I worked for Chanel, where I fell in love with luxury beauty, artistry, and the power of enhancing natural features.  I’ve always been obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury... her aesthetic aligned perfectly with my own soft, glowing, romantic style and I still use many of her products today. As the years have gone on, I’ve developed a deep love for all high-end, luxury brands, always curating my kit with only the most refined, skin-loving formulas.

 

I’m constantly learning, evolving, and studying the work of my favourite artists. This industry moves fast, and I pride myself on staying inspired, educated, and in love with my craft.

 

I’m naturally a perfectionist, hardworking, creative, and deeply committed to making my brides feel calm, relaxed, and the very best version of themselves. My approach is gentle and personal... I take time to listen, to understand your vision, and to create a look that feels authentically you.

 

Away from weddings, I adore being a mum. At home, I love creating a cosy, warm space for me and my family. I’m happiest cooking and baking, hosting dinner parties for friends, or crafting with Elsie.

I have the biggest sweet tooth, but I’m also a wellness girlie... countryside hikes, sauna sessions in the Peaks, matcha dates with my best friend, and taking Elsie climbing are some of my favourite moments. I’ve loved renovating our home and studio space, creating an environment that feels soft, calm, and inspiring.

 

I’m a 90s movie lover (from rom-coms to thrillers) and I’m also obsessed with anything true crime related... the perfect balance to my otherwise serene daily life.
